Who Is To Blame For Oklahoma City?
By Kurt Saxon
When a system is in decline, as ours certainly is, and has
been for the last two generations, the insecure seek someone to blame. They blame first
those in power for the overall decline. Those with the least ability blame also, specific
groups, ethnic and racial.
The Conspiracy Cultists find a ready market among the anxious and insecure. There is no
fantasy they can't sell to enough people to make themselves a good living.
They make a point of never offering their market anything they can use to improve their
situations and thereby ease their anxieties. No; the anxieties must be constantly
maintained and even increased. The fantasies must be fed and reinforced.
The conspiracy Cultists have found by trial and error, just how black they can paint the
picture in order to keep their believers paying for more. The goal is a helpless,
demoralized creature, totally dependent on the cult leader for the only "truth"
he recognizes.
Of course, there is a line which must not be crossed. This line is action. The believer
must not act. He can buy their printed matter, tapes, camping gear, camos, guns, ammo,
etc. He can drill, protest, write letters and otherwise waste time. But he must not act
against the accused. For to act on a lie can only be trouble. This not only reflects badly
on the cult leader and loses a follower but can lose those followers who still have some
common sense.
Timothy McVeigh is a case in point. He acted on a lie. That lie stimulated him to kill as
many government employees as possible in the mistaken belief that they were collectively
responsible for the deaths at Waco. Of course, his Militia associates disclaimed him,
saying they had kicked him out for being too radical.
But he was loyal to them. The last entry on his America Online reseme' reads as follows:
"Screen Name: Tim McVeigh. Member Name: Timothy McVeigh. Location: Decker, MI USA.
Sex: Male. Marital Status: Divorced/Separated. Computers: This one. Hobbies: Organic
Bombs. Occupation: Mad Bomber. . . with my associates from the Michigan Militia. Quote:
'Let us take back the government. . . . . . . . . or die trying. . . 'BOOM'".
Hadn't they continually agitated him and reinforced his irrational anti-government
fantasies to the point where he had to act, as a logical consequence of his programming?
And how many more Tim McVeighs are out there, programmed to violence by militia leaders
and by other cult leaders such as Linda Thompson, Bo Gritz, Tom Valentine, Chuck Harder,
Jack McLamb, G. Gordon Liddy, William Cooper, etc. So many targets out there. Everyone who
works for the government. So many itchy trigger fingers. . .
