"Didn't the holocaust" include Nazi Austria? Jews would have us believe that most European Jews were persecuted unto death in the camps unless they got out with the clothes on their backs or were rescued in late 1945 by allied soldiers.

This asks the question of these documents, why were two Jewish business leaders so afraid of them that one would hide them and then take his own life and another, over thirty years apart, pay $100,000 because of his attempt to suppress the material?

A Modern Jewish Mystery 

    In 1967 Communists marched in the streets of San Francisco carrying Viet Cong flags and Nazis attacked them. About that time, John H. Brandon, a Jewish merchant from Nazi ruled Austria was hiding the records of his past. His family moved from their apartment and a troop of Nazi Stormtroopers moved in. Why they could expect to maintain a Nazi headquarters in the most prominent Jewish neighborhood in northern California is anybody’s guess.

  When we went to rent the apartment, Lt. Al Vincent and I, talked to the landlady. Of course, she had no idea we were Nazis. We told her we were painters and she offered a months rent if we would paint the apartment. We agreed and she said that in the former tenant’s (Brandon’s) basement cubicle there was a clothes hamper filled with old shirts, etc., which we could use as paint rags. I went down and emptied the hamper. Halfway down I found a large wine colored envelope filled with Brandon’s life records. Upon seeing the Nazi passport and three pounds of material from Austria and the U. S. I was fascinated.

  As it was, I kept the material for 39 years, occasionally trying to trace it to Brandon’s heirs with no luck. What seemed most strange to me was why man with such an interesting past would hide and then abandon a set of records any other family would treasure.

  As it turned out, the media found us and there was yelling and screaming outside and the entrance was fire bombed with little effect. We were evicted.

  But the mystery deepens. I had it put on my kurtsaxon.com website, with samples, that I needed a translator for the many letters handwritten in German from 1939 through 1946. Bill Kettler called saying he was German and had been in Germany during the war and he would be glad to translate. I sent him all the material. When he had time to get and examine the material, I called him and he said he was no longer interested and would return the material. He kept it and my attorney threatened him with a suit with no result. We sued and a judge awarded us over $400,000 we settled out of court for $100,000 and the material was returned (my agent put a value of $200,000 on the material). 

    What was so earth shaking about this material that two Jewish business leaders, over thirty years apart, would be so afraid of it that one would hide it and then take his own life and the other would pay a hundred thousand dollars because of an attempt to prevent its publication.
